HUGE NEWS for ASHS Boer Goats

Meet the newest addition to our buck lineup. SQW Sawyer's Uzi *Ennobled* is now calling West Virginia home. I fell in love with this buck the first time I laid eyes on him. When the opportunity arose for us to have him here we jumped on it as fast as we could. We are so very thankful to have such an outstanding paint buck here and also for the friendship we have found with his previous owner's, Glen and Nancy Casada. We know how highly they feel for Uzi and after being in his presence for just a few minutes it is impossible not to be in awe of such a buck. Not only is he everything we have looked for but he is also the most gentle natured and all around very sweet.  We look forward to what the future holds for us and our addition  of UZI.

We are so proud of our buck lineup! We hope to improve the colored boer goat industry with each of these bucks. Our plan is to strategically match up each of our with the buck that best meets their strengths and weaknesses. Breeding season is carefully thought out time for us and we  always look forward to seeing how our planning pays off in those 5 months. Having goats with color is just an added bonus. First you are excited to see the quality of the kids, when you get lucky enough to get reds, paints and even spots that is just even better! To us, nothing tops a eye catching colored goat in the show ring! Each buck has their own page on my website. Please check them out for additional information and photos!

Hello! We are Ashley, Jeremy, Ty and Lane Jenkins. Together we own and operate ASHS Boer Goats. We started this crazy goat adventure in 2006. We had plans of purchasing two full-blooded Boer Goats. That number quickly multiplied and we now have a herd of around 20 does and 3 bucks. I know that doesn't sound like many but with our growing family it is the perfect number. We know each of our goats and their personalities. I feel like having the amount we do I can take care of them better and know if something is not right with them. Our oldest son, Ty is an ABGA member and has shown in the pee wee class with his own goat a few times. I'm excited to have the kids grow up with a livestock background. I want them to know how it feels to put in hard work and to really be proud of their accomplishments. We run a herd of mainly colored boer goats with just a couple traditional. We have seen the colored boers really drastically improve in the past few years and we would like to do our part to keep that going. We breed mainly for show goats that are competitive in the ABGA shows in the surrounding states. Please feel free to look around a bit! You can also find us on Facebook. If you have any questions please shoot me an email at ashleyj106@yahoo.com
